This website was created in 2017 to document the football uniforms of the University of Alabama-Birmingham football team. UAB was chosen for their unique identity, strong fan base, and return of the program after being shut down in 2015.
This site is a side project to the Auburn Uniform Database. While doing research on multiple Auburn athletic teams, I wanted to try something different and this was chosen. I have enjoyed documenting Auburn uniforms over the years, and have seemingly added a new Auburn program to track uniforms each season. I added the South Alabama Tracker as another sister site to the AUD in 2015, and wanted to expand it more. Hopefully one day, I can have sites similar to these that document each major university in Alabama and their football uniforms..
